Texans continue to shape policies and practices to empower a cleaner, more equitable, and sustainable energy landscape. We invite you to join TEPRI as we explore the factors that are essential for a just, environmentally sustainable future including practical insights into developing and enhancing statewide systems that can ensure equitable participation in the clean energy transition, and share invaluable insights on the intricate dimensions of energy justice.
Our event will begin with keynote remarks from Doug Lewin, founder of Stoic Energy, unveiling a vision and pathway toward achieving an equitable and clean energy future in Texas.
We will also hear from a panel of industry and thought leaders on energy justice:
- Doug Lewin: Founder of Stoic Energy
- Stefania Tomaskovic, Ph.D.: Coalition Director at the Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience (CEER)
- Anissa Rodriguez Dickerman, Ph.D.: Chief Executive Officer, Pecan Street
This panel will address how policies, research, and advocacy experience gained from their hands-on community-based engagement will ensure marginalized communities are integral to the clean energy transition.
We will conclude the 1.5-hour event with a 30-minute networking reception.
