Speakers will share how local governments can address the water/energy nexus by promoting smart water use and conservation in their communities without increasing their energy expenditure or sacrificing energy efficiency.
Webinar Agenda:
Matt Jensen, Cascade Energy, will explore the methods communities can use to assess the energy burden across various water sources to create effective behavior change, while increasing energy and water savings.
Steve Cavanaugh, P.E., Cavanaugh & Associates, P.A., will present on the International Water Association’s Leakage Emissions Initiative. This initiative looks at the link between leakage prevention and reduced carbon emissions, and provides methods for incentivizing water loss prevention.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss best practices for energy-efficient water conservation, and get feedback from industry experts.
