Texas PACE Authority Selected as New North Texas Regional PACE Program Administrator

The Texas PACE Authority (TPA) is proud to announce that it was officially awarded a new PACE program administration contract today, expanding its role as the leading nonprofit administrator of Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs in Texas.
With this new contract, TPA continues to grow its reach—currently serving 106 local TX-PACE programs across the state, including 17 member governments within the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) region. This latest designation reinforces TPA’s reputation for delivering high-quality, transparent, and impactful PACE administration services to local governments and property owners alike.
“We are honored to have been selected to administer this regional new PACE program,” said Charlene Heydinger, TPA President. “Texas PACE Authority’s mission has always been to empower communities with tools to drive sustainable development, reduce operating costs, and promote long-term resiliency—and we’re excited to bring that mission to the broader North Central Texas region.”
As a mission-driven nonprofit, TPA supports commercial, industrial, and multifamily property owners with access to low-cost, long-term financing for energy and water efficiency upgrades, onsite energy installations, and resiliency improvements. TPA provides end-to-end program administration, from initial setup and stakeholder engagement to project underwriting and compliance tracking.
