IECC Energy Code Training

 

Calling all Texas builders, building officials, energy managers, architects and engineers who are knowledgeable of building designs and practices, but who may not have a thorough understanding of the updated 2021 IECC energy codes With funding provided by the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), the Energy Systems Laboratory is pleased to announce that we will be providing the following FREE2021 IECC Energy Codes trainings in an area near you!  Course offerings include updates on the following: Updates (2018 -> 2021) Residential section of the IECC energy code, including the Energy Efficiency chapter of the IRC Updates (2018 -> 2021) Commercial section of the 2021 IECC energy code Each course will include the following elements: Introduction of the basic concepts and principles of the Energy Code; Discussion of the major differences between the previous editions of the Code and the 2021 Code; Discussion of the alternate compliance path components of the Code, and; An overview of the importance of compliance with the Code.
