Republic Elite Project in Harrison County Wins National PACESetter Award

A Harrison County manufacturing facility has earned national recognition for its leadership in energy efficiency. Republic Elite Multifamily Interiors Inc. was honored with the 2025 PACESetter Award for Innovative Deal of the Year (Under $5 Million) at the PACENation Summit in New York City.
The Texas PACE Authority extends sincere thanks to the Harrison County Judge and Commissioners for leadership in establishing the local PACE program. Their commitment created the foundation for this award-winning project.
The award recognizes the company’s successful implementation of a $1.5 million PACE-financed retrofit of its 280,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Marshall. The financing, secured through the Harrison County PACE Program and administered by the Texas PACE Authority, enabled Republic Elite to upgrade HVAC systems, install energy-efficient lighting, and modernize production equipment.

The improvements significantly reduce the facility’s energy consumption and operating costs and increase productivity all without upfront capital. Financing was provided by White Oak Global Advisors under the state’s TX-PACE framework.
“This project demonstrates the powerful role TX-PACE can play in advancing energy efficiency within the manufacturing sector,” said Dub Taylor, with Texas PACE Authority, who accepted the award on behalf of Republic Elite and Harrison County and presented it in Marshall. “It’s a replicable model for other manufacturers and a great example of public-private collaboration.”
The award also reflects the dedication and innovation of the Republic Elite manufacturing team, whose vision and execution brought the project to life. Their efforts exemplify how manufacturers can enhance performance and sustainability through PACE financing.

The PACESetter Awards, presented annually by PACENation, highlight exemplary clean energy and water conservation financing initiatives nationwide. Republic Elite’s project was selected for its innovation, replicability, and community impact.
The Harrison County PACE Program enables commercial and industrial property owners to access affordable long-term financing for energy and water efficiency improvements, repaid via a property assessment.
