111 Communities, 111 Projects, One Mission

Texas PACE Authority is proud to celebrate a major milestone in the continued growth of TX-PACE across Texas: 111 participating communities and 111 closed projects! Marking this achievement, the City of Mineola recently became the 111th community to establish a TX-PACE program, with Texas PACE Authority serving as administrator.
These milestones underscore the continued momentum of local governments across Texas embracing TX-PACE as a proven economic development too, one that helps communities attract investment, support redevelopment, and create lasting value for property owners and taxpayers alike.
From large urban centers to growing rural counties, TX-PACE continues to prove its value as a flexible financing tool that supports both high efficiency new construction and the upgrades of existing buildings. Whether helping close capital gaps, improving project feasibility, supporting refinancing strategies, or delivering long-term operational savings, TX-PACE is helping owners move projects forward with confidence.
Reaching 111 participating communities and 111 closed projects is more than a milestone, it reflects the growing recognition that TX-PACE is delivering real economic value across Texas,” said Dub Taylor, CEO of Texas PACE Authority. “Communities are embracing TX-PACE because it helps attract private investment, support redevelopment, and strengthen local economies without the use of public funds. At the same time, property owners are using TX-PACE to make projects more financially feasible and deliver long-term operational savings. We’re proud of the momentum we’ve built together and even more excited about what’s ahead.”
From repeat revitalization projects along Fort Worth’s West Vickery corridor to first-of-its-kind developments like the Kimpton Hotel at The Meuse in Fredericksburg, TX-PACE is helping Texas property owners solve capital stack challenges and move transformative projects forward with confidence. Across sectors, including office, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and mixed-use, property owners are increasingly turning to TX-PACE as a strategic part of the capital stack.
At the same time, communities across Texas continue to recognize the economic development value of establishing local TX-PACE programs. Participating cities and counties gain a powerful tool to attract investment, encourage redevelopment, support sustainability goals, and strengthen their local tax base, all without using public funds.
Reaching 111 participating communities also demonstrates the broad confidence local leaders have in the program. Closing 111 projects shows that confidence is translating into real investment and measurable impact.
But perhaps most importantly, this milestone reminds us that TX-PACE is built on partnership.
Every county commissioner who sponsored a program, every city staff member who championed adoption, every lender who introduced PACE into the capital stack, every developer who trusted the process, and every contractor who helped deliver energy and water improvements has played a role in this success.
This milestone belongs to all of us. Thank you for helping grow TX-PACE across Texas!
As we look ahead, the mission remains the same: to expand access to smart, flexible financing solutions that help Texas communities thrive.
- 111 communities.
- 111 projects.
- One mission.
And we’re just getting started.
